Our products are sold exclusively online through this website. Quantities may be limited, and all products are subject to return or exchange according to our Return Policy. Product descriptions and pricing are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

Product Quality

All silk scarves are 100% silk. Over time, silk may thin with consistent use, and dyes may fade. See our Silk Care Guide for tips on maintaining your scarves.

Scarf rings are made of brass or alloy and plated with rhodium. Color may fade over time. Store rings in the provided velvet pouch when not in use to maintain quality.

Product Photography

Product images are intended to reflect the specifications of each item, but colors and sizes may vary slightly due to digital screens and platforms.

Payment Details

We accept major credit and debit cards via Stripe and PayPal. All payments are processed in US Dollars.

Sensitive payment information, such as credit card data, is never handled directly by Lalouette. All payment details are securely processed by Stripe and PayPal. Refunds will always be credited to the original payment method.

Discount Codes

Promotional codes may occasionally be offered for specified products or full-price items. Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions.

Shipping & Delivery

Import Duties & Taxes

Lalouette is based in Hong Kong, which does not impose VAT. However, import duties, VAT, or purchase taxes may be applied by your country of residence. These costs are the buyer’s responsibility. Lalouette will complete all necessary customs forms, but we are not responsible for local import charges.

Customs Clearance

We accurately complete customs documentation, but delivery may be delayed due to customs inspections. Lalouette is not responsible for such delays.

Returns, Exchanges & Faulty Items

Returns

Full-price, undamaged items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Returns must include proof of purchase and items must be in new, unused condition with original packaging. Sale items cannot be returned unless faulty. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility, except for faulty items.

Please contact us via returns@lalouettesilk.com to obtain the return address and authorization.

Faulty Items

If an item is faulty, please email photos to returns@lalouettesilk.com before returning. Customers can choose either a replacement (if available) or a refund. Return shipping costs for faulty items will be reimbursed upon approval.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, return your original item for a refund and place a new order.

Order Acceptance & Cancellation

By Us

We may cancel orders if:

• We have insufficient stock
• An item is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error
• We are unable to ship to your country due to restrictions imposed by Hong Kong Post or other authorities

If we cancel, we will notify you and refund any payment made. No further compensation will be provided.

Intellectual Property

All website content, images, logos, and branding are the property of Lalouette, except for our blog where third-party content may be used. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without prior written permission.

Force Majeure

Lalouette shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling orders caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or postal restrictions.
